Introducing the Dune Tank & Briefs Pattern!
I am so excited to announce our newest pattern, the Dune Tank & Briefs! Designed with ultra comfort & versatility in mind, this set is ready for you to lounge in, or for you to throw on with a pair of jeans to wear out as a top & undies!
Before we get to know the pattern, let me first say that the Dune Tank & Briefs are ON SALE from now until 11:59pm (Eastern) on Sunday, September 26. So If you’d like to scoop it up, now is the time!

The Dune Tank
The Dune Tank is designed to be a minimal & elegant tank top, that is appropriate for wearing both at home & outside. It is ideal for lounging, working out, as a lightweight bra, or simply as your top! I strive to design patterns with a host of applications, & this tank is no exception. (Just wait until you see all the hacks I have in store!)
The armholes & necklines of the Dune Tank are bound so the binding folds to the right side of the tank. The front neckline has a modest scoop, & the back neckline dips slightly lower. However, all of this is customizable thanks to the design of the straps! The narrow straps attach to the body of the tank with O-rings, which gives you complete control over the length. You simply sew the straps onto the front O-rings first, adjust the fit to your liking, & secure them to the back rings in whatever length suits you best.
In addition, hidden inside the straps is a piece of 1/4” elastic. This keeps the straps from stretching out during sewing & wearing, plus adds great support as well.
The Dune Briefs
The Dune Briefs are a full cut, high-rise modern undergarment with a low leg & a full back, designed for full coverage. Just like the tank, the edges are bound with bindings that fold to the right side of the briefs. Plus, with comfort in mind, both the waist & leg openings are elastic-free, so they won’t cut into your lovely curves! You can of course treat the Dune Briefs as loungewear, but they are also designed to wear under your clothes as traditional underwear as well if you choose.
The Notion Kits
In addition to the pattern launch, there are limited Dune Notion Kits available too! Knowing that it might be tricky for some of you to find quality O-rings for the tank, I sourced them for you, in six different finishes.
Choose between shiny silver, matte silver, black, shiny gold, rose gold, & white! Each kit comes with four O-rings, plus one yard of 1/4” elastic, enough to complete one Dune Tank & Briefs set. There are a limited number of kits, so don’t wait if you want these. They’re only $5, & once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Sewalong & Pattern Hacks
To support the pattern, I am excited to announce that I will be doing a video sewalong! The videos will be posted on-line for all to see & will include a number of exciting pattern hacks, like swimsuit options, dresses, & a whole lot more. I can’t wait to share it all with you!
