Introducing the Piqué Lounge Tunic!

I’m so thrilled to launch my newest pattern today, the Piqué Lounge Tunic!

To celebrate the launch, you can score 20% off the new Piqué Pattern & all my digital patterns through 11:59pm ET Sunday, August 31 with the code PIQUELAUNCH. Yay!

The Piqué is a gender-inclusive loose fitting lounge tunic that can be worn as a dress, beach cover up, robe, or over pants. It has an oversized fit with drop shoulders, wide elbow-length sleeves, side seam vents, & a deep plunging v-neckline with an exterior facing.

The length is designed to land mid-to-lower calf, but can easily be customized to any length you prefer, thanks to the straight side seams & level hem. The v-neckline can be shortened as desired, & the height of the side seam vents can also be customized.

Tutorials for these changes are included in the instructions. Also included are instructions on how to sew the Piqué Lounge Tunic with French & topstitched seams, to ensure beautiful finishes for your sheer fabrics.

Piqué is designed to work with lightweight fabrics with drape, like rayon, silk, linen, lawn, and tencel.

All the fabrics used for the samples in the photographs were supplied by Workroom Social! Their line of exclusive rayons are perfect for the Piqué Pattern! I couldn’t recommend their rayons more. I use them in my personal life, & when Jennifer offered to use her fabrics for the photos, it was a total dream. Go check their designs out. There’s something for everyone!

And if you need appropriate interfacing, they have that too!

Piqué is sized from XS-4X, bust 32-57”, waist 24-49”, & hip 33-58” and appropriate for any gender.

Piqué (pronounced like the letters PK) is only in digital format right now. It might be printed in the future, but there is no date set for that at this time.

I hope you all love the Piqué Lounge Tunic! I’ve been wanting a classic caftan-style garment in my closet for ages, and never found anything that was quite right. So I had to design it myself!

Grab it (and anything else in my digital collection) now while it’s on sale. I can’t wait to see your makes! Be sure to use the hashtags #christinehaynespique and #christinehaynespatterns so we can all enjoy what you sew!

Thanks as always for all the love and support!
xoxo
Christine
